This image contains Python 3.9.5, Node.js LTS (currently 16.17.0) and various other tools to setup building and testing a full stack application (with a Python backend and a Node-based frontend). It's based on CircleCI's convenience images for python and node.
Browser tools: as per CircleCI, these include Chrome, Firefox, OpenJDK v11, and Geckodrive.Important: as of v3, the images no longer include those tools (see this)
Version 3.0 - Upgrade from deprecated CircleCI images (as per this). Note this update removes all the browser tools, as those are meant to be added in separately
Version 2.6 - Added Cypress dependency (and set the cache folder to ~/cypress)
Version 2.5 - Updated Python (3.9.1 -> 3.9.5)
Version 2.4 - Added pa11yci for accessibility testing.
Version 2.3 - Replaced gulp with gulp-cli.
Version 2.2 - Added gulp installation.
Version 2.1 - Added missing data transfer between stage 0 and stage 1.
Version 2 - Replaced manual python installation with a multistage build using CircleCI's python image.
