shocking/mts-3090 repository overview

This is a beta version of the d6.0A MTS distribution, set up to run inside a container. Expect has been used to have it go through the prompts to bring it up to a fully running system. The 1st connection to port 3270 will yield the system console (do this 1 minute after starting it), subsequent connections will give a terminal where you can log in.

The github repo https://github.com/stephen-hocking/Michigan-Terminal-System-Dockerfile⁠ has a shell script which can be used to submit jobs through the virtual card reader and collect the output via the virtual printer, as well as copying files to the system.

Copying files from the system is an involved process, and a perusal of https://try-mts.com/using-mts/⁠ should prove useful.
