A browser-based privacy tool for Masking secret/credentials in code before sending to AI.
477
A browser-based privacy tool for safely sharing code, configuration files, and logs with AI assistants.
CodeMask detects sensitive values and replaces them with reversible placeholders before you copy content into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another AI assistant. When you receive the AI response, paste it back into CodeMask to restore the original values locally.
Everything runs in the browser.

Example:
10.20.30.40 → {{IP_1}}
Send the sanitized content to the AI.
If the AI responds with:
Connect to {{IP_1}}
CodeMask restores it locally:
Connect to 10.20.30.40
docker run -d \
--name codemask \
--restart unless-stopped \
-p 8080:80 \

Open:

CodeMask Web UI runs entirely in your browser.
The registry is stored in browser local storage so placeholders can be restored across your workflow.
