⁠Overview

This is an unofficial Hyperion NG Docker image, designed for users who want a lightweight, auto‑updating, x86_64‑compatible installation of Hyperion NG. The image is based on Debian 13‑slim and automatically downloads and installs the latest available Hyperion NG release for x86_64 during build time.

Hyperion NG provides a powerful Ambilight‑style LED control system with support for USB grabbers, LED strips, effects, and multiple input sources. This container makes deployment simple, reproducible, and hardware‑friendly.

/config — Stores all Hyperion NG configuration files.

⁠Hardware Access

You can pass devices directly into the container:

• USB/Serial Devices — /dev/ttyUSB0
• SPI Devices — /dev/spidev0.0
• Video Grabbers — /dev/video0

Example:

⁠Default Command

Hyperion NG starts automatically:

/usr/bin/hyperiond -u /config
