Docker image for a MastChain AIS station. It runs the same AIS-catcher build as mastcontrol and uploads to https://api.mastchain.io/api/upload.
Station credentials are supplied at runtime. TOKEN and PASSWORD are joined into the USERPWD value the installer expects (TOKEN:PASSWORD). In the installer example, that is your email and the station secret:
[email protected]:station-secret
The image downloads the Debian Trixie package for the architecture it is built on (amd64, arm64, or armhf).
An RTL-SDR (or other supported receiver) must be available to the container.
docker run -d --name mastchain --restart unless-stopped \
--device /dev/bus/usb:/dev/bus/usb \
-e TOKEN='[email protected]' \
-e PASSWORD='station-secret' \
sicnull/mastchain
Quote PASSWORD. Station secrets often contain + and =.
| Variable | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
TOKEN | required | Account email, the part before : in USERPWD |
PASSWORD | required | Station secret, the part after : in USERPWD |
INTERVAL | 60 | Seconds between uploads |
UPLOAD_URL | https://api.mastchain.io/api/upload | Upload endpoint |
Arguments after the image name are passed to AIS-catcher. To open the web viewer on port 8100:
docker run -d --name mastchain --restart unless-stopped \
--device /dev/bus/usb:/dev/bus/usb \
-p 8100:8100 \
-e TOKEN='[email protected]' \
-e PASSWORD='station-secret' \
sicnull/mastchain
The viewer is then at http://<host>:8100.
