This repository contains the official Docker images of all stable releases of the SoFiA 2 source finding software. The SoFiA 2 source code and documentation are available on GitLab at https://gitlab.com/SoFiA-Admin/SoFiA-2/⁠. Please feel free to open a new issue⁠ on GitLab if you encounter problems with any of the Docker images provided here.

Due to the significant overhead imposed by container formats, we strongly advise users to install SoFiA from source by downloading and compiling the source code⁠ from GitLab. This is straightforward and will use significantly less disc space than a Docker image. Docker images should only be used in special circumstances where installation from source is not possible or a container format is preferred for some reason.
