Django dairy management suite: milk collection, quality-based pricing, billing and distribution
57
An end-to-end dairy management app built with Django. It covers milk collection at the farm, parameter-based quality testing and pricing, supplier billing and payments, plant processing, and distribution, with real-time notifications over websockets.
Source code: https://github.com/SOUGUR/ProGoDairy
The app serves HTTP and websockets through Uvicorn on port 8000. It needs PostgreSQL and Redis. The easiest way to run it is with compose.yaml (development) or compose.prod.yaml (production) from the GitHub repository. To run the image on its own:
docker pull sougur/progodairy
docker run -p 8000:8000 --env-file .env sougur/progodairy
Set at least DJANGO_SECRET_KEY, DJANGO_ALLOWED_HOSTS, DATABASE_URL and REDIS_URL. Secrets are never baked into the image: pass them at runtime.
