The repository includes a sample elasticsearch.yml configuration file, which contains a minimal setup for running Elasticsearch as a single node in Docker.
The file contains the following:
cluster.name: sourcemation-es-cluster
network.host: 0.0.0.0
discovery.type: single-node
cluster.name: Defines a unique name for your Elasticsearch cluster.
network.host: 0.0.0.0: Allows Elasticsearch to be accessed from outside the container.
discovery.type: single-node: Instructs Elasticsearch to run as a standalone node and not attempt to join a cluster with other nodes.
The sourcemation/elasticsearch image itself comes in debian-13 flavor.
The tag latest refers to the Debian-based flavor.
