⁠Transcoding GPU Benchmark

This tells you how many 4K films your server can transcode at once before it runs out of steam, and how your hardware stacks up against everyone else running the same test.

You pick a device, hit start, and watch a live scoreboard climb as it piles on more simultaneous streams. When the slowest stream can't keep up with real time any more, that's your number. Same clips and same rules on every machine, so the results actually mean something when you compare them.

It works with Intel, AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, and with plain CPU software encoding. There's a public leaderboard at https://gpu.spaceinvader.one⁠ where you can submit your result and see where you land.

⁠Install on Unraid

Intel and AMD work out of the box. For NVIDIA, add --runtime=nvidia to the Extra Parameters and make sure the Nvidia Driver plugin is installed.

Open the WebUI on port 8088, pick a device, and press start. The test clips download once on the first run and are cached after that.
