This repository provides a Docker image for MAFFT, a fast and accurate multiple sequence alignment tool widely used in bioinformatics.
MAFFT is developed by Kazutaka Katoh and Daron M. Standley, and supports various alignment strategies including FFT-based methods and iterative refinement.
This Docker image was originally created for internal use by the Biomedical Data Science Laboratory at Jeonbuk National University (https://bdsl.jbnu.ac.kr), but it is publicly available and free for anyone to use.
⚠️ Disclaimer: This image is provided as-is. No official support or error reporting is available. Errors may occur at any time, and users should validate the image in their own environment before relying on it for critical workflows.
