These are images based on work done by jacobalberty/unifi here: https://hub.docker.com/r/jacobalberty/unifi⁠

Any image here is based on a fork I have taken of https://github.com/jacobalberty/unifi-docker⁠ here: https://github.com/starkjs/unifi-docker⁠ to work on as I am doing for a PR back to the main repo

Doing major updates to bring the base image up to:

• Ubuntu 24.04
• Java 25
• MongoDB 6.0

So they can support Unifi Network Application 10.x and above

If you are using a single container with the internal MongoDB and are on an old image with MongoDB 3.x or 4.x, then you need to do a full backup and restore, if you want to use these images.

If you are going to that level of work, it would be recommended that you move to a dual container setup of Controller and MongoDB and that way you are not going to get locked in again and have trouble with future upgrades where the DB might need to change version.

Also, if you are running old H/W or on something like a NAS, then you may need to stay on the old MongoDB 4.4, thus having a separate containers is the only way forward.
