starknetfoundation/starknet-dev repository overview

Docker image for local Cairo development that includes Scarb⁠, Starknet Foundry⁠, Starknet Devnet⁠, Node⁠ and Yarn⁠.

This image is intended to be used with VSCode⁠ or Cursor⁠ with the Dev Containers⁠ extension. To use it, create a .devcontainer.json file at the root folder of your project with the following configuration:

Then go to View -> Command Palette and execute the command Dev Containers: Rebuild and Reopen in Container. This will launch a new instance of VSCode running inside the container which means that the integrated terminal will have access to all the binaries that comes with this image.

The image version corresponds to the supported Scarb version.
