A target system is a component of Asgard honeypot system. It can be any real systems or applications. It serves as a system or application where attackers can connect to through Asgard's proxy system and execute their attacks.
In this particular case, this is simple a Linux server running an OpenSSH server. In addition to shell commands, this target system also has some other tools that attackers usually use to mount their attacks.
