strangefog/nginx-windows-letsencrypt repository overview

Easy to configure and run Nginx HTTP server with Let's Encrypt SSL certificates that are renewed automatically and HTTP to HTTPS auto-redirection.

Just run your container with proper variables and you're ready to run multiple SSL secured HTTP sites.

Required Variables

  • EMAIL - Let's Encrypt requires you to provide e-mail address, it's not used for anything else
  • DOMAINS - List of domains you want to run, separated by semicolon.
  • You also need to map ports 80 and 443 of course

Contents:

Example usage:

docker run -d --name nginx -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -e EMAIL="[email protected]" -e DOMAINS="domain1.yourhost.com;domain2.yourhost.com" -v C:/Conf:C:/Nginx/Conf/Conf.d -v C:/Certs:C:/LetsEncrypt/Certs strangefog/nginx-windows-letsencrypt:1.15.9-ltsc2019

Will host domains domain1.yourhost.com and domain2.yourhost.com and will mount host's C:/Conf and C:/Certs folders where Nginx's configuration files will be stored (and where you can modify them as you need) as well as SSL certificates.
