A modern personal website serving as my digital hub and online presence.
10K+
strangeranger/hthompson packages the production build of the HThompson website into a self‑contained Docker image. The website itself is a modern NextJS/MUI Material UI application that serves as a digital hub, featuring a responsive landing page, a live GitHub project tracker, a service hub linking to hosted projects and applications, and built-in analytics and security features.
latest (amd64, arm64)Pull the image
docker pull strangeranger/hthompson:latest
Run the container
The app listens on port 3000. To start it in detached mode, map the internal port and harden the container:
docker run \
--rm -d \
-p 127.0.0.1:3000:3000 \
--name hthompson \
--read-only \
--security-opt no-new-privileges:true \
--cap-drop=ALL \
strangeranger/hthompson:latest
Create a docker-compose.yml file to manage the service:
services:
hthompson:
image: strangeranger/hthompson:latest
container_name: hthompson
restart: unless-stopped
ports:
- "127.0.0.1:3000:3000"
read_only: true
security_opt:
- no-new-privileges:true
cap_drop:
- ALL
docker compose pulldocker compose updocker compose down--chmod=0555 and runs the app as the node user, reducing write access inside the container.--frozen-lockfile to ensure reproducible builds.Given that this image contains and deploys my personal website, it isn't intended for anyone other than myself.
