NetEdge — P2P disk cloning & deployment over the network (PXE, multicast, differential).
2.0K
P2P disk cloning and deployment over the network. Keep dozens or hundreds of machines on identical disk images — from a classroom to a full rack — with built-in PXE/DHCP/TFTP, peer-to-peer distribution, hybrid multicast, differential images and adaptive tuning.
NetEdge bundles DHCP + TFTP + PXE boot and uses raw sockets, so it needs the host network:
docker run -d --name netedge \
--network host \
--cap-add NET_ADMIN --cap-add NET_RAW --cap-add NET_BIND_SERVICE \
-v netedge-data:/data \
--restart unless-stopped \
stranola/netedge:latest
Open http://HOST-IP:8080 (user admin, password netedge — change it on first
login). All state (database, images, keys, license) persists in the /data volume.
docker pull stranola/netedge:latest
docker stop netedge && docker rm netedge # the /data volume is preserved
docker run -d --name netedge --network host \
--cap-add NET_ADMIN --cap-add NET_RAW --cap-add NET_BIND_SERVICE \
-v netedge-data:/data stranola/netedge:latest
--diff, per-client receive cap, recipe assistant,
multi-channel alerts (webhook/Telegram/email), hardware inventory.Commercial / proprietary software. A signed master license is required to run deployments (the server starts without one but rejects deployments). Contact us for licensing, pricing and trials.
