⁠Running the commandline client

The sdbcli is distributed as a docker image streamsdb/sdbcli⁠. Set the following alias to run the cli against the beta environment:

alias sdbcli='docker run -it -v "$HOME/.config/sdbcli/:/config" streamsdb/sdbcli --host "sdb://beta.eu.streamsdb.io:443?tls=1" --token "/config/.sdbtoken"'

⁠SDBCLI Quickstart

⁠SDB_HOST

The environment variable SDB_HOST (or option --host) specifies the uri to node. The format is: sdb://[username:password@]host[:port]/[collection]?[option_name]=[option_value].

Here are two examples:

local: sdb://localhost:6000?insecure=1 remote: sdb://beta.eu.streamsdb:443?tls=1

No that for non TLS hosts the option tls=1 must be set and for non TLS hosts insecure=1.
