⁠Sensu Go

This is a container providing both Sensu Go agent and backend compiled from open-source version of Sensu Go (available at https://github.com/sensu/sensu-go⁠).

From version 5.15.0, binaries provided by Sensu have commercial features enabled by default but is limited to 100 entities. So, if you want to stick to open-source version or don't want to buy a license and need more than 100 entities, this container will suits you!

Sensu has been compiled with GOOS=linux, GOARCH=amd64 and CGO_ENABLED=0.

⁠Getting started

⁠Backend

docker pull surian/sensu-go:latest
docker run surian/sensu-go:latest sensu-backend start

⁠Agent

docker pull surian/sensu-go:latest
docker run surian/sensu-go:latest sensu-agent start

You can as well provide command line arguments or environment variables to set Sensu Go agent or backend configuration. See https://docs.sensu.io/sensu-go/latest/reference/backend/⁠ and https://docs.sensu.io/sensu-go/latest/reference/agent/⁠ for more information.

If you need to persist Sensu data, attach a volume to /var/lib/sensu! This will be especially needed for Sensu Go backend if you are using the embedded etcd server.
