sverrirab/bash repository overview

Simply start a ubuntu bash shell or run a command in the ubuntu bash shell. Currently based on ubuntu:14.04.

Run interactive shell: docker run -it sverrirab/bash

Run a single command (-c is required as it is an argument to bash telling to run a command): docker run sverrirab/bash -c ping google.com

Note that starting it without -it means it will exit right away. To prevent that use sverrirab/sleep instead.
