• This runs perl version 5.16
• Centos version 7.5.1804

⁠To Run rperl converter:

assuming you want to mount /home/myuser/perl/ as your directory to conver (mnt in the docker container)t:

docker run -v /home/myuser/perl:/mnt symgryph/rperl rperl mnt/myfile.pl

⁠Tips on making files smaller & symlinking your libperl.so

strip --strip-all <name of executable>
upx <name of executable>

You will need to symlink libperl.so in the /lib64/perl5/CORE to /lib64/libperl.so UPX is a compressor, it made my stripped 100k executable 33k. It also seems to make it static (not sure about this)
