msbuild images for .net web development with vs2017 and .net framework 4.6.2 and webdeploy

Use this image to build Visual Studio 2017 web workloads. The image is heavily based on this blog post by Alex Ellis: https://blog.alexellis.io/3-steps-to-msbuild-with-docker/. Some quirks with the latest version of Visual Studio and Windows Server Core as a build platform had to be worked around which wasn't covered in the original blog post.
You can use this image as a base for a docker build file, like so:
FROM syndy/msbuild:15.0 SHELL ["powershell"]
COPY . 'C:\build\'
WORKDIR 'C:\build\'RUN ["nuget.exe", "restore"]
RUN ["C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\BuildTools\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\msbuild.exe", "C:\build\MyWebSolution.sln"]CMD ["powershell"]
This will allow you to build your solution with a docker build command. The build artifacts can then be extracted like so:
docker build -f build.Dockerfile -t my-solution-artifacts .
docker create --name my-solution-artifacts-1 my-solution-artifacts
docker cp my-solution-artifacts-1:C:\build\MySolution\bin .\MySolution
docker rm -f my-solution-artifacts-1
