⁠AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) V2 Docker

This is a Docker Image that could be used for the Development of your AWS CDK project. It uses an Alpine distro with sh shell and apk package management. It also runs Docker inside the running container and it should have --privileged mode enabled.

  cdk:
    image: syniol/aws-cdk:latest
    privileged: true
    tty: true

There is a shared volume that could be mounted to your local project /usr/local/cdk.

services:
  cdk:
    image: syniol/aws-cdk:latest
    privileged: true
    tty: true
    volumes:
      - "../:/usr/local/cdk"

You could also use Docker CLI instead of Docker Compose. Please see example below:

docker pull syniol/aws-cdk:latest
docker run -it --rm --privileged syniol/aws-cdk:latest sh
