⁠Nginx Proxy & Balancer (NPB)

This application was built with node.js and express.js for automatic configuration of reverse proxy and load balancer with nginx

This application have 3 mode: Load Balancer, Reverse Proxy, Reverse Balancer

Mode Load Balancer and Reverse balancer have 3 Method: Least Connection, IP Hash, Round Robin

This application have feature for Free SSL with Let's Encrypt, Cache Enable and Remove Cache

⁠How To

Create bridge network sysops

docker network create sysops

Run container using network sysops and port 80, 443, 8765 with name npb

Make sure port 80, 443, and 8765 are still available before running this container

docker run -d -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -p 443:443/udp -p 8765:8765 --name npb --restart always --network sysops sysopsid/nginx-proxy-balancer

Access container with url: http://IP-Host:8765

Basic authentication credentials, username: admin password: sys-ops.id

Load Balancer and Reverse Proxy for container e.g.

docker run -d --name web1 --restart always --network sysops sysopsid/web-test
docker run -d --name web2 --restart always --network sysops sysopsid/web-test

Inside application, just type the container name on form Server Address: e.g. web1 or web2

Tag :stable-1.28 using nginx version 1.28.2 (official nginx stable repository)

docker pull sysopsid/nginx-proxy-balancer:stable-1.28

Tag :latest :mainline-1.29 using nginx version 1.29.5 (official nginx mainline repository)

docker pull sysopsid/nginx-proxy-balancer:latest

docker pull sysopsid/nginx-proxy-balancer:mainline-1.29
