⁠IoT2000 Yocto Image

The docker container is based on the descriptions at https://github.com/siemens/meta-iot2000⁠. It contains a setup to simulate a Yocto image for an IoT2000 machine inside a docker container, using QEMU.

⁠Prerequisites:

• Docker is installed (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-use-docker-on-ubuntu-16-04⁠)

⁠Setup:

(1) clone docker container:

docker pull tamaramueller/iot2000_image

(2) go to folder poky

cd  poky

(3) enable environment

source  oe-init-build-env

(4) go to parent folder (probably two directories up)

cd  ../..

(5) run yocto image using QEMU

runqemu build/tmp/deploy/images/iot2000/ build/tmp/deploy/images/iot2000/core-image-minimal-iot2000.ext4 build/tmp/deploy/images/iot2000/bzImage nographic slirp

(6) Login as root, no password required
