The default configuration for tapyrus-core can be found in /etc/tapyrus/tapyrus.conf.
If /my/tapyrus.conf is the path and name of your custom configuration file, you can start your tapyrus-core container like this:
$ docker run -d -v /my/tapyrus.conf:/etc/tapyrus/tapyrus.conf -e GENESIS_BLOCK_WITH_SIG='00000...00000' tapyrus/tapyrusd:<version>
GENESIS_BLOCK_WITH_SIGThis variable is required when running tapyrusd.
DATA_DIRThis variable is optional, By default, this value is /var/lib/tapyrus
CONF_DIRThis variable is optional, By default, this value is /etc/tapyrus
/my/own/datadir.tapyrus-core container like this:$ docker run -v /my/own/datadir:/var/lib/tapyrus -e GENESIS_BLOCK_WITH_SIG='00000...00000' -d tapyrus-core:tag
The -v /my/own/datadir:/var/lib/tapyrus part of the command mounts the /my/own/datadir directory from the underlying host system as /var/lib/tapyrus inside the container, where tapyrus-core by default will write its data files.
The tapyrusd image will be built/published with GitHub Actions.
In order to reduce the build time, the dependencies under the depends directory will not be built every time,
and the tapyrus/builder image will be used with these dependencies pre-built.
Therefore, if there are any changes in the dependencies under the depends directory, you need to update the tapyrus/builder image.
You can update the image using the Push Tapyrus Builder image action.
This action is manually triggered, so you will have to trigger it manually in the action screen.
You will be prompted to enter a new tag (e.g. v0.1.0).
However, this build will take a long time. If you need to build quickly, it is probably faster to publish the image built in your local environment to DockerHub.
After that, replace the tag at the top of the tapyrusd Dockerfile with the new one.
