Aretha.ai Backend

A FastAPI backend for the Aretha.ai inventory management system. This service provides REST APIs for products, customers, and orders, and connects to a PostgreSQL database for persistent storage.

Usage:

docker compose up --build backend

Environment

The backend expects:

DATABASE_URL=postgresql://postgres:postgres@db:5432/inventory

One Quick Reminder For Deployment:

Since this backend code layer is linux/arm64, this image will run perfectly on your Macs.However, if you plan to launch this on a standard Intel-based Virtual Private Server (VPS) later, remember to add that --platform linux/amd64 flag to your build command so Docker creates an Intel row next to your M1 row!
