⁠SDN Launch Control Backend

A comprehensive Software-Defined Networking (SDN) management platform backend API built with Django. Enables automated SDN adoption with OpenDaylight integration, ML-based traffic classification, Open vSwitch management, and real-time network monitoring.

⁠Quick Start

⁠Using Docker Compose (Recommended)

1. Clone the repository and navigate to the backend:

   git clone https://github.com/Taurine-Technology/sdn-launch-control.git
   cd sdn-launch-control/backend/control_center
   

   Copy

2. Create environment configuration:

   cp .env.example .env
   # Edit .env with your configuration (database, Redis, API keys, etc.)
   

   Copy

3. Start the services:

   docker-compose up -d
   

   Copy

⁠Required Services

• PostgreSQL with TimescaleDB extension
• Redis for Celery and WebSocket channels

⁠Environment Variables

Required variables in .env:

• DB_HOST, DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASS - Database connection
• CELERY_BROKER_URL - Redis URL for Celery
• CHANNEL_REDIS_HOST, CHANNEL_REDIS_PORT - Redis for WebSockets
• SECRET_KEY - Django secret key
• DJANGO_SUPERUSER_USERNAME, DJANGO_SUPERUSER_EMAIL, DJANGO_SUPERUSER_PASSWORD - Admin user

⚠️ Your .env file with secrets is NOT included in the image - you must provide your own configuration. The image only contains application code.
