A rebuild of mongo-express v1.0.2 on a current Node 24 / Alpine 3.24 base. The Docker Official image was deprecated after its base images reached end of life and nobody bumped them — the project itself is still actively developed, and its updated build definitions were simply never published anywhere. This image builds them, unmodified, and rebuilds on the first of each month so the base stays patched.

Published for the TechWorld with Nana DevOps Bootcamp and provided as-is, with no support commitment. Upstream's security notice applies here too: JSON documents are parsed through a JavaScript virtual machine, so mongo-express should only be used privately for development purposes. Don't expose it to the internet and don't run it in production.

Configuration variables are documented in the upstream repository, which is more current than the old official Docker Hub page. Built from mongo-express-docker, variant 1.0/24-alpine3.24. MIT licensed, same as upstream.
