TelcoSec PSTN/ADSL Cyber Range - DSLAM emulator with Open vSwitch lawful-intercept-style tap.
337
Emulates the street-cabinet DSLAM that aggregates subscriber copper lines onto the ISP's core. Runs Open vSwitch configured with a SPAN port mirroring all traffic from a subscriber link out to a dedicated tap network — modeling a lawful-interception-style compromised access-node scenario.
Attack surface: unmanaged-bridge promiscuous sniffing on the copper link, OVS SPAN-port traffic tap for passive PPPoE discovery-frame interception.
Part of the TelcoSec PSTN/ADSL Cyber Range — a 16-container, 100% software-based telecom security lab modeling a realistic wholesale ISP (copper-line impairments, PPPoE, RADIUS/AAA, L2TP wholesale roaming, TR-069/CWMP). Built for the TelcoSec Telecom Security Academy.
⚠️ Intentionally vulnerable. Ships plaintext PAP/crackable MS-CHAPv2, an unauthenticated MongoDB backend, and unencrypted TR-069 by design, for red-team training. Do not deploy outside an isolated lab network.
