Switching from other pre-built images carefully if you're switching from the official caskd/yagpdb image.teyker/arm64-base is no longer available. If you followed a previous version of this guide and are pulling any version-specific ARM64 tags older than v1.24.18, please note that the base image will NOT receive any updates, including security patches. I would recommend switching to the latest tag.rootless* images have switched to Docker Hardened Images for added security. Default user has also been changed from yagpdbbot:yagpdbbot(1000:1000) to nonroot:nonroot(65532:65532).devel* tags has been discontinued to avoid being confused with "delve" (go debugger). Use master* (master/main branch) or dev* (dev branch) instead.| Default Docker | Rootless Docker 1 | with Debugger Support 2 | |

You'll only need 3 files: app.env, db.env, and docker-compose.yml. Download example files from my git or the official one, tweak the settings, put them in the same folder, and docker-compose up -d.
NOTE: This bot requires privileged intents. Please go to Discord Developer Portal and enable "Presence Intent", "Server Members Intent" and "Message Content Intent" all three intents under "Privileged Gateway Intents" for your bot.
Edit your docker-compose.yml file

If you're switching from caskd/yagpdb, please go to Discord Developer Portal and enable both "Presence Intent" and "Server Members Intent" under "Privileged Gateway Intents" for your bot.
You are unlikely to lose any configuration or data during the switch. But for safety, always make a backup of your volumes before any operations. Switching to an older image (downgrading) may lead to unexpected behavior or data loss. Check the breaking_changes.md for compatibility changes.
The default tags (the latest and the version tag) contain multi-arch images. Follow the steps in the Setup section and select the tag of your choice. If you followed a previous version of this README and pulling tags with "-arm64" suffix, don't worry, they're still there and will be updated as before.
YAGPDB requires 64-bit OS. Only the following Raspberry Pi models have 64-bit CPU and are supported:
Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit) is compatible with the following models: 3B, 3B+, 3A+, 4, 400, CM3, CM3+, CM4, Zero 2 W. However, if you installed Raspberry Pi OS (previously called Raspbian) before February 2nd, 2022, you might still need to manually switch to 64-bit kernel. Search "Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit kernel" on the Internet for more info.
The images are updated daily during 02:30 AM to 03:00 AM UTC.
latest/<version number> are built using code tagged with the latest release. Even though it's less secure (comapring to rootless builds), this tag is probably what you want.^v[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+$ (aka <version number>) are immutable and will not be updated once published.master a using code from the master branch of YAGPDB repo.*-rootless images are built for rootless Docker deployment (increased safety). These images are based on Docker Hardened Images for added security.*-debug images have go toolchain & go-delve pre-installed. Again, these images are less secure. Only use this tag if you know what you're doing.I currently have no intention of deprecating this repository anytime soon, and I will be giving notices 30 days before the discontinuation both in README and in YAGPDB's official Discord server.
