thespider/was-exporter repository overview

WAS-110 Exporter

The WAS-110 Exporter is a process for reading values from the WAS-110 and exporting them as a Prometheus or Home Assistant scrapeable endpoint. This allows Prometheus and Home Assistant to consume these values. Please see the project's readme for more information.

It is built from the repository located on a private git repository.

Base Image

This image is a distroless image. The only objects in the image are the running binary and the files require to support it.

Updates

This image is built for every release automatically.

Inclusion of Custom Root CA

This build includes a custom internal root certificate authority to trust custom resources. Realistically, this impact should be minimal, as the certificates generated from this CA are not publicly used. However, this may be a valid concern/issue for you and/or your organization. If you have any issue with this, please don't use this image. You can use the Dockerfile to build/maintain your own image without the included root certificate authority.
