A Postfix SMTP relay that your other containers send their mail through, with optional DKIM signing (OpenDKIM), SRS rewriting (PostSRSd), SASL authentication on both sides and log forwarding (rsyslog). Everything is configured with environment variables.
This image continues mwader/postfix-relay: same variables, same volumes, a new name. Switching is an ordinary upgrade.
Documentation: github.com/tigerblue77/Postfix_SMTP_relay_Docker
docker run -e POSTFIX_myhostname=smtp.domain.tld tigerblue77/postfix_smtp_relay
With Compose, next to the application that sends mail:
services:
app:
image: your-app
# sends its mail to the host "smtp", which is the service below
smtp:
image: tigerblue77/postfix_smtp_relay
restart: always
environment:
- POSTFIX_myhostname=smtp.domain.tld
The default configuration is an open relay that relies on Docker networking for protection. Do not publish port 25 to the outside world before reading Securing the relay.
latest: the last commit of master whose image was pulled back from this registry and passed its tests on amd64 and arm64.sha-<commit>: one per commit of master.2, 2.0, 2.0.0, …) start with the first release under this name. The 1.x versions exist only as mwader/postfix-relay.Architectures: amd64, arm64 and arm/v7. SRS rewriting is unavailable on arm/v7.
