⁠Open Trashmail: Web

Open Trashmail, but split up, this is just the PHP/Nginx based web server

⁠Changes

⁠SMTP

• Updated to run on Python 3.11 (supports 3.6-3.11)!
• Fixes to support different text encodings in received emails
• Fixes to support recieveing emails with non-JSON serialisable content, encode to base64
• No env parameters, pass in your premade config.ini

⁠Web

• Support base64 encoded payload
• Allow downloading of emails as a .eml
• Add default domain to webui field

⁠Getting started

Here is a basic config.ini to get you started

[GENERAL]
DOMAINS=example.com
[MAILSERVER]
MAILPORT=25
DISCARD_UNKNOWN=false
[DATETIME]
DATEFORMAT=D.M.YYYY HH:mm
[CLEANUP]

docker run -p 80:80 -v ./data:/data tigerhacker/opentrashmail-web

⁠Docker Compose

Here is a sample docker compse file to get you stared, including the web component
