This uses simple UDP broadcasts on Docker's default broadcast IP (172.17.255.255) to send chat messages to other Docker containers running the same software. You could probably adapt this to a normal network, too, but this is for a workshop about Docker to demonstrate how containers can talk to each other over the virtual network.
