⁠FYI

This will start up MySQL within the container but you have the option to provide it with a different DB server name

⁠Installation

⁠Standard run

docker run -p 80:80 -p 3306:3306 -d --name my-container-name toneloc01/dvwa

App will use these default params:

db_server=localhost
db_name=dvwa
db_user=admin
db_password=

⁠Run with config (Add the params)

⁠MYSQL_DBSERVER

If you supply this param you don't need -p 3306:3306 (that will be added to the MySQL container) also use the link param when starting this container (ex. --link mysqldb)

-e MYSQL_DBSERVER=server-ip-and-port

⁠MYSQL_DBNAME

-e MYSQL_DBNAME=db-name

⁠MYSQL_USERNAME

-e MYSQL_USERNAME=username

⁠MYSQL_PASSWORD

-e MYSQL_PASSWORD=password
