An armhf Docker image for Jasper, the open source platform for developing always-on, voice-controlled applications.

⁠Warning

The current images still require a lot of debugging to make jasper working. Google is your friend. Good Luck. I keep you updated if the Docker images will work standalone.

This Dockerfile builds an Arch Linux armhf image optimized for the Raspberry Pi 3. The Code is available via https://github.com/torbenbrodt/armhf-jasper-docker⁠

There is 3 Tags

• Jasper Voice + Plugins
• Jasper Voice + Plugins + Pocketsphinx
• Jasper Voice + Plugins + Pocketsphinx + Google

The last one is my personal choice. It uses Pocketsphinx for the offline hotword detection (not all of your conversations go to the internet) and afterwards applies Google for the more advanced language.

Instructions how to use the images to follow later. Please share via github if you have any. Thx

If you want to build the image on your own I suggest to use scaleway.com - the raspberry itself has to less power.
