⁠Docker Images

These control most of the docker images under the everwisehq/ docker organization. If you want to edit the everwisehq/docker-postgis image, it lives at https://github.com/everwise/docker-postgis⁠

⁠How do I update an image?

1. Update the Dockerfile

2. docker build -t everwisehq/IMAGE_NAME:VERSION DIR_NAME

   For example:

   docker build -t everwisehq/rails:2.6.8 rails
   

   Copy

3. Test it out locally:

   This will be different per image, but you can run commands in a container like this:

   docker run --rm -it everwisehq/rails:2.6.8 bash
   

   Copy

4. Push up to Docker Hub:

   docker push everwisehq/rails:2.6.8
