The easiest way to run WireGuard VPN + Web-based Admin UI.
8.9K
You have found the easiest way to install & manage WireGuard on any Linux host!
If you haven't installed Docker yet, install it by running:
$ curl -sSL https://get.docker.com | sh
$ sudo usermod -aG docker $(whoami)
$ exit
Then log out and log back in again, or reboot.
To automatically install & run wg-easy, simply run:
$ docker run -d \
--name=wg-easy \
-e WG_HOST=<b>YOUR_SERVER_IP</b> \
-e PASSWORD=<b>YOUR_ADMIN_PASSWORD</b> \
-v ~/.wg-easy:/etc/wireguard \
-p 51820:51820/udp \
-p 51821:51821/tcp \
--cap-add=NET_ADMIN \
--cap-add=SYS_MODULE \
--sysctl="net.ipv4.conf.all.src_valid_mark=1" \
--sysctl="net.ipv4.ip_forward=1" \
--restart unless-stopped \
torqdl/wg-easy
💡 Replace
YOUR_SERVER_IPwith your WAN IP, or a Dynamic DNS hostname.💡 Replace
YOUR_ADMIN_PASSWORDwith a password to log in on the Web UI.
The Web UI will now be available on http://0.0.0.0:51821.
💡 Your configuration files will be saved in
~/.wg-easy
If you'd like to add wg-easy to a docker-compose, you can begin with this example:
Add this to /opt/compose/docker-compose.yaml and run it with
$ docker-compose -f /opt/compose/docker-compose.yaml up -d
version: '3.7'
