transmute/sidetree-dashboard repository overview

Sidetree Dashboard

This image contains a Next.js app that can be used to operate a sidetree node.

Running this application will start up a sidetree node and provide you a simple UI to interact with the node.

This UI will allow you to:

  • Create a wallet that is kept in local storage.
  • Create a DID.
  • Resolve a DID.
  • See the transactions that are happening on your node.
  • See the operations that are happening on your node.

As it stands now, the following operations are not available:

  • Delete DID
  • Update DID

For additional information about this application, please see the README here: https://github.com/transmute-industries/sidetree.js/tree/main/packages/dashboard

Instructions for deploying on GCP

  2. cp .env.example .env
  3. Set the variables in .env according to how you want your hosted sidetree setup.

  7. gcp cloud console setup https://github.com/transmute-industries/wikis/blob/master/docs/setup-gcp-continous-deployment.md
  8. Install gcp cloud sdk command line tools, configure it with the project and authenticate with the service account.
  9. Build and push the docker container to gcp.

            --timeout=1200s \
            --machine-type=n1-highcpu-32
  1. Deploy container to cloud run.
gcloud run deploy $SERVICE \
            --region $REGION \
            --image gcr.io/$PROJECT_ID/$SERVICE:$github.sha \
            --platform "managed" \
            --set-env-vars NEXT_PUBLIC_TITLE="$NEXT_PUBLIC_TITLE",NEXT_PUBLIC_METHOD="$NEXT_PUBLIC_METHOD }}",... \
            --service-account "$GCP_RUNNER_SA" \
            --quiet
