⁠How To Use

Add the bash function below into your bash environment:

chess () 
{ 
    docker run -it --rm -v `pwd`:/tmp truthadjustr/chess $*
}

A common place to add the above function is in your $HOME/.bashrc file.

I did not polished enough this image because I am in a hurry. This tool is used to extract chess positions from lichess.org site. Let us use here, as an example, my lichess id truthadjustr.

• chess uid truthadjustr
• chess gid yXNn9xQW 13
• chess show 'rn1q1rk1/ppp1ppbp/4bnp1/3p4/2PP1B2/1QN1PN2/PP3PPP/R3KB1R' output.png

You will have an output.png chessboard position of that game in move 13. Try it, and use other lichess id.
