tzahifadida/gitea repository overview

The images are built from bitnami gitea as is and pushed here.

I use them for my course at https://shipacademy.dev⁠ which teaches how to deploy kubernetes for your freelance or indie projects.

For example, 1.24.5 was taken from https://github.com/bitnami/containers/tree/main/bitnami/gitea/1/debian-12⁠

I don't take any responsibility, in fact they are provided as is. If you need your own, simply build them for yourself. It is super easy.

I now use a script but this is how I initially compiled them: download the sources as of the example above. Note: Use your own docker registry tags (not tzahifadida, it wont work).

Then:

docker buildx create --name mbuilder --driver docker-container --use
docker buildx inspect --bootstrap

docker buildx build \
  --platform linux/amd64,linux/arm64 \
  -t docker.io/tzahifadida/gitea:latest \
  -t docker.io/tzahifadida/gitea:1.24.5 \
  --push .
