uchitesting/woff2 repository overview

This is just a simple image meant to convert True Type Fonts to Web Open Font Format based on the woff2_compress tool.

⁠Instructions

• Create a folder where you would put the TTF files to convert. For this example it is C:\Docker\woff
• Run any of the following command
  • One-shot : The script will run, do its thing and the container will stop. Better for most cases.
    • docker run --rm -v /c/Docker/woff:/fonts uchitesting/woff2:{IMAGE_TAGTAG}
    • ex: docker run --rm -v /c/Docker/woff:/fonts uchitesting/woff2:latest
  • Manual : You are given a command prompt. You can run commands as you wish. Better if you prefer to treat fonts is multiple batches.
    • docker run --rm -ti -v /c/Docker/woff:/fonts uchitesting/woff2:{IMAGE_TAG} sh
    • ex: docker run --rm -ti -v /c/Docker/woff:/fonts uchitesting/woff2:latest sh
    • Then you can ls to check if the volume is indeed containing the fonts
    • Run the script from there /scripts/ttf2woff2.sh
• Harvest the woff2 files
