This image is build on the official debian:jessie ARM image.
It contains a preinstalled dnsmasq server that runs on start and listens
for pxe hosts.
Repo: https://gitlab.com/flopsters/arm-dockerfiles/tree/master/dnsmasq-pxe
There is a default pxelinux config file that expects the file pxe-image.iso.
If found, this is automatically served to the pxe hosts.
Also this image expects the environment variable IPRANGE, as this
will be used to tell dnsmasq on which subnet it starts the dhcp server.
Basically one can map any image to /var/lib/tftpboot/pxe-image.iso.
One should even be able to override the whole /var/lib/tftpboot with an
individual configuration folder.
Note: This images is designed to use the hosts network, therefor must be priviledged to open ports on the docker host machine.
Usage:
docker run -it --net host -e IPRANGE=192.168.0.0 \
-v $(pwd)/boot2docker.iso:/var/lib/tftpboot/pxe-image.iso \
