⁠Overview

This Docker image allows you to run a dedicated server for Xonotic, a fast-paced, open-source first-person shooter game. The image is lightweight, easy to set up, and suitable for hosting multiplayer game servers.

⁠Usage

⁠1. Pull the Docker Image

docker pull umair101/xonotic-server:v1.1

⁠2. Run the Docker Container

Once you have the you can run the Xonotic server with this command:

docker run -d --name xonotic-server -p 26000:26000/udp -p 26000:26000 umair101/xonotic-server:v1.1

This starts the server and makes it accessible on port 26000.

⁠3. Verify the Server

Check the server logs to verify it is running:

docker logs xonotic-server

⁠Environment Variables

You can customize the server using the following environment variables:

⁠Configuration

To modify server settings, edit the server.cfg file located in the /opt/Xonotic/data directory within the container:

1. Access the container shell:

   docker exec -it xonotic-server bash
   

   Copy
2. Navigate to the configuration directory:

   cd /opt/Xonotic/data
   

   Copy
3. Edit server.cfg using a text editor like nano or vi.
