⁠GEMPAK

GEMPAK (GEneral Meteorology PAcKage) is a set of programs to decode, analyze, and render meteorological data. UCAR's Unidata Program Center maintains an open-source, non-operational release for use in the geoscience community.

⁠GEMPAK Docker Instructions

• docker pull unidata/gempak
• docker run --user gempak -it --rm=true unidata/gempak:latest
• ./rungempak.sh from within the container, as user gempak, to run GDINFO using cloud-based AWIPS gridded data.
