⁠USDA Zookeeper multi-host cluster

⁠About

This repo contains the recipe (Dockerfile) for a zookeeper container that is intended for use with a zookeeper multi-host ensemble, since all nodes must be running before starting zookeeper. No ports are exposed for improved security and since the inteded use-case is with docker networks.

⁠Build

• cd to the directory that contains the Dockerfile in this repo
• docker build -t usdaeas/gov-zookeeper .

⁠Run

• docker run -d --net=myDockerNetwork -v sourceDir:/opt/zookeeper/conf --name myContainerName usdaeas/gov-zookeeper Note: -d = detached, --net = dockerNetwork, -v = mount /opt/zookeeper/conf directory

Reference the conf directory for example sourceDir configurations
