utkusarioglu/openssl3 repository overview

I got tired of different packages reverting my OpenSSL installation back to 1.1.1f. So, I hastily created this image.

⁠Some specs

• It's a non-root image that has the bash instance as ENTRYPOINT.
• WORKDIR is set to /workspace. This is where you shall mount your volumes against.
• It's quite big in size as I didn't remove any of the build tools, nor did I do any kind of optimization due to my time constraints.

⁠Creating an alias

You can use the alias below (or something similar) to make openssl3 available with current directory mounted to /workspace. Note that you cannot climb up the directory tree if you use this alias; you can only climb down.

alias openssl3='docker run -it --rm -v $(pwd):/workspace utkusarioglu/openssl3:3.0.1'
