⁠Purpose

The goal of this project is to facilitate widespread usage and development of IOHK's Plutus Platform. The Plutus Platform is in the early stages of development, and thus has a high barrier to entry. The images and tools published here aim to lower that barrier significantly in hopes of simplifying use and development on the platform.

⁠Note

All images beginning with 8.10.2 will be configured for use as VSCode devcontainers. Therefore, only one tag will be listed per image.

⁠Images

These images were created using the dockerfiles hosted at our GitLab repository⁠.

The images are versioned according which version of the Glasgow Haskell Compiler (GHC) they contain (e.g. 8.8.3). Moreover, alpine and vscode tags are used to represent the intended use of the images. Alpine images simply contain the configured GHC and system libraries required to build Plutus projects. VSCode images are intended to be used as VSCode Devcontainers⁠. They contain the same GHC and system libraries as the alpine images, along with a configured Haskell IDE⁠ to provide a smooth, IDE-like experience while writing Plutus applications.
