⁠About VNFS Collector

VNFS Collector is a lightweight eBPF-based NFS statistics collector from VAST Data. It tracks per-process NFS operations on the host, attributes them to local mount points, and exports metrics to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Kafka, VAST native DB (VDB), a file, or the console.

It is typically run as a privileged container or Kubernetes DaemonSet with access to host kernel headers, modules, and /proc, so it can attach BCC/eBPF probes and observe NFS activity across the node.
