⁠A feedforward neural network for recognizing handwritten digits from the MNIST dataset

⁠How to use

Start the application

docker run -itv parameters:/workdir/parameters veetimar/neural-network

Afterwards the app asks what to do next. "Train" trains the network, "Test" tests how well the network is able to recognize the digits, "Save" saves the network's parameters to "parameters" directory under working directory and "Load" loads parameters from the same directory to the network.

⁠Note

I have no idea how to get matplotlib to work with docker so plotting the digits as well as plotting a graph of average error during training do not work at the moment.
